The entrance really gave us a feel of an old Soviet Union area, with the large grey monument serving as the entrance. The park is really big, and great for a stroll.

Great to see WW2 from an eastern point of view - great exhibition! Shame that war with the finns in 1939-1940 was not bias - the finns kicked it the right way in the cold woods of Karelia

No country suffered more than Belarus during World War 2. Almost all European countries have war memorials but this memorial is less grandiose than many others. It is linked to a park that runs along the Svislach River that has been developed and decorated with fountains, greenery, and clever lighting. I could not see any tourists but unlike any European capital city, young couples were walking arm in arm.

The memorial is attractive day and night. It is clean and safe. Views of the park and from it are great.

The Victory park is the biggest park in Minsk. The Svislach river meanders through it, and it's biggest attraction is the Great Patriotic War musuem (see that review).
Unlike other such European parks, this one is very calm and quiet, so you can enjoy nice nature walks in total peace. There're no vendors, street performers, kids rides etc...just plain and immaculately clean nature.

This is a lovely place to walk around for fresh air, for seriously interesting architecture and for reflection on the huge losses that happened in Belarus during WW2. "Victory: as this park, place and street are called, was hard won. Many atrocities took place in Minsk and on Belarusian soil. This, and other such memorials are dignified and large - as is befitting. There is a war museum here which has been renovated and very very interesting.

Huge park where to enjoy a calmful walk. Not very full of stuff, but super clean, like actually the rest of the city. Spend a bit of time here and rest!

Recommend large patriotic parade ground type park. Need more grass, flowers and trees. Perfectly clean.

While the park is great for an afternoon stroll, it's definitely more attractive for younger generation. Older people might have issues walking long alleys with limited rest spots. Getting to public transportation is also an issue.
