Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic evening, huge choir and orchestra and talented ballet dancers. Great performance and different to other ballets I've seen before! And at 500lek (about £4) it's well worth getting a ticket.

This is the cheapest and best performances you will see for your money. Some performances are free but usually €1- €3.50 maximum. Albanians are very very talented in the arts and you can see them in ballet, operas, symphony orchestras and even circus performances. Its a shame that some of the albanian audience members talk loudly and don't respect the artists but hopefully this attitude of respect changes over time. Just ask when you book the ticket to be near the front where there are less people. Highly highly recommend going every night to see all the performances your able to.

The Opera Pagliazzi was presented by the Latvian National Opera.
The soprano and all the tenories were excellent as well the overall scene. Just a great surprise to be seen and heard in Tirana!

Located at Skadarbeg Square, this large impressive building housing Opera provide excellent opportunity to artists from Albania and also from all over the world to perform and show their great talents. Regular programs are held here and there is also a cafe, shop to entertain visitors. Schedule of programs change every season.

We have only seen the structure from the outside and we cannot give a valid and detailed opinion on this attraction, but the impression is that it is a very valid structure.

The Tirana opera house stands out along one side of the immense Skanderbeg square. From the outside it is just one of many regime-era buildings scattered around the city. Every time I see it I think of the time I saw Bellini's Norma performed here, with a noisy and rowdy audience who did not follow a warble of the opera and who did not allow even those who wanted to follow it. Never seen in Europe had such an undisciplined audience which would certainly have angered Mahler who was the first to impose silence on the spectators at the Vienna opera house.

In the evening the building is expertly lit and is valorised as it should be, in fact it manages to get noticed despite the square being full of attractions and surrounded by imposing and square buildings.
On the ground floor, directly overlooking the square, there are several interesting rooms.
