Nice to spend an afternoon with your family. The kids can play with various stuff from bicycles to monopatin. In summer there also water fountains where everybody can be refreshed.

We found this square quite unimpressive for its grandeur and lacks majestic building and old places that many major squares in Europe have. Besides its large size and one old mosque other buildings are sturdy and a bit ugly, typical of communist style one.

There wasn't much going on in the square at all and appeared to have little of interest. It wasn't one of the more exciting city centres we have seen. It was definitely worth having a wander around to get a feel for the city though....More
This is a very large square that is impressive in its space. Work is underway to renovate some of the buildings around the square, but it is not particularly charming.
Huge space to watch locals going about their business or a pleasant stroll. Performances on some evenings.
