Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This morning, walking along the long avenue that crosses Tirana from north to south passing through the center, I arrived at the state polytechnic, which is the building that houses the engineering faculty. I entered after climbing the staircase and admired its pure rationalist style interior. Inside the polytechnic there is a courtyard which leads to another section of the faculty, but feeling a bit like an intruder I didn't feel like going in.

Nice building to walk past and take pictures. It is located in a nice square so worth doing if you are nearby Mother Teresa Square.

The square here has now been renamed as Mother Teresa Square. The buildings are best viewed at night, when they are illuminated. There are also many people here in the evening just perambulating and enjoying the night air. If you walk up the avenue from the square you will come to the famous Hoxha Pyramid on the right after bout 200 metres.

It's a big university with imposing buildings. But I don't recommend that you go out of your way as the campus is not all that pretty or interesting. From another era.

The builiding from the outside view is amazing , well designed. If you go inside you can see how miserable the conditions are. Not for engineering students

I wrote about this because I every day come back here because I like the street/round about the lights and not a lot of people there. The building in special lights in the evening was Nice even its not special architecture. There should be a mother Theresa statue here I never found that. The national football stadium are on the left side of the building now under contruction work for some years. Before you are at the university You are passing the palace of president. Tourist buses often parking here. The name of the square is Mother Theresa Square. Happy that I was there.

It is a interesting place to visit especially the Mother Theresa Square where one can see an interesting mixture of Italian Fascist and Communist architecture superimposed on each other. It reflects over 70 years of a very complex history.
