Taking the ferry from Tahiti to Moorea was exactly as advertised. Easy to get tickets and easy to board, the ferry left on time. The food on board was reasonably priced if not gourmet.

The ferry affords some good photo opportunities from the upper open deck during the 3/4 hour crossing. If not taking a vehicle, there is plenty of parking at the terminal for 2000XPF from 6am to 8pm. The onboard cafeteria is reasonably priced and offers a fair range of food and drink.

We took the larger ferry from Moorea to Tahiti and we were very impressed with the vessel and the service. The boat is quite nice and very clean! Small cafe on board, clean restrooms and everything was well attended to.

For a small price of $30( for 2 people) you can take a ferry that leaves multiple times a day to Moorea which is Tahiti's sister island. For those debating where to stay- Tahiti or Moorea, I recommend Moorea. The only highlight about Tahiti is the market which has black Tahitian pearls and fresh fish and woven baskets. Moorea is... We used the Aremiti Ferry to get between the islands of Tahiti and Moorea and enjoyed it very much. The ticket prices were reasonable ($15 USD each way) and the ride was very scenic. The loading areas on both sides are very clean and safe. The boats themselves are also very clean and accommodating. There is a cafe onboard, televisions,... More

We were able to get a light light on board which was nice. Recommend top deck for great view. Seating inside was very comfortable.

Booked online ahead of time. Ferry is right downtown Papeete. Clean boat and good food for low price. Comfortable seating and quick ride to Moorea.

We purchased our tickets on line before our trip. Took the 7:30 Ferry and returned on the 4:45. That was the only drawback, as we would have loved to stay on Moorea longer. I would recommend staying there a couple of nights.
