Visited Suva and stayed at the GPH. We saw these beauties everyday leaving the hotel. Fiji has come a long way from when I used to visit as a child. Look forward to returning!

Art Deco in the South Seas is an unexpected find, but a welcome one at that. As it is still a functioning government building, this is a purely look, don't touch destination.

Fiji has had a tumultuous recent history. It is interesting to know about a country`s past to appreciate it`s present and future. Worth a short visit for history buffs.

The Parliament is in the city center, just few steps away from the Fiji Museum and victorian Grand Pacific Hotel. It looks impressive and noble. In front of it there is a huge green field used by school kids as a training spot.

With very little time left in Suva before we needed to start our drive back to Momi Bay, we really only saw the building from the outside. The colonial buildings at the historic end of Suva are worth a visit if only for the history...More

The Parliament Building is pretty much another drive by when visiting Suva. Unremarkable architecturally.

Impressive colonial building in the city. It was a symbol of power in the country. Was there on a short stop during a cruise stop.

No, most everything there is closed. Families go to church and spend the day together.
