About
Fiji's original and the World's First jetboat & village safari,is a half-day, uniquely Fijian adventure into the "Heart and Soul of Fiji", aboard our purpose-built Safari jet boats. Our guests will travel along the majestic Sigatoka River to visit an authentic Fijian village and experience a day in the life of the real ‘kaiviti’ (Fijian). To bring the Safari adventure to life, your driver/guide is assigned to each group and introduces passengers to the rich culture of the Fijian people and shares the history, customs and legends of the area. Sigatoka River Safari began operations in 2006 and quickly established itself as a premier attraction by winning the Best Fiji Experience in 2008 and Best Adventure Tour in 2007 at the annual AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, also winning 6 consecutive TripAdvisor Excellence Awards putting itself into the Hall of Fame as the Number 1 Outdoor Activity in Fiji. In 2017 secured World Travel Award Australasia's Leading Adventure Tour Operator

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was my second and my family’s first time on the river jet. We loved every bit of it and it’s a must do in Sigatoka. The captain was well experienced though he jokingly said he is driving for the first time lol. The 360 spins were great. Please take a change of clothes… hahaha

The jet boat ride, and spins, on the Sigatoka river together with the lunch and kava ceremony at a local village were the highlights of my Fiji trip. The experience was made all the better by the wonderful hosts and guides, Tia, Zack and Captain Jack, aka Josh.
Throughly recommend this experience.

Loved this day. Fijians are the best hosts. From Milly and Spongebob on the transport up to Sadam and Moses on the cave tour, such beautiful, friendly, witty and knowledgeable people.

Totally recommend this tour!

Was an amazing culture experience, seeing the Fiji villages along the river. Was amazing to learn about Fiji culture and way off traditional life. Captain Lep’s was incredible for the experience, explain his life growing up in local community (village) along the river, we will be back soon to experience this again was incredible.

Great experience, captain Jack was entertaining and the village visit was authentic and not commercialised like some, we were with a large group and there were no negative comments at all, everyone enjoyed the day.

A well organised tour, with care taken all the way. The jet boat up to where the village we visited was great. Our driver stopping along the way giving us all sorts of information. Seeing how people lived and used the river on the way was great. The way back was where the thrills began on the jet boat. The day was extremely hot, making it uncomfortable trekking to the village. Shoes off for the kava ceremony which took a long time to complete. Lunch was provided, an assortment of local foods prepared lovingly. There was dancing after lunch.
