We took the half day tour and we were amazed at how many attractions we saw. We were even able to visit government buildings, historic parks, photo stops.

We were here off cruise ship unfortunately for us on 1st January so everything was closed enjoyed the city tour and to the beaches Could not even get a coffee or beer but hopefully it would be nicer if not a holiday

Hi Peggy. I am argentinian who have visited Montevideo for my own holidays and have taken tourists there 2 times. Try to contact Turisport on internet. They are a large travel agency in Montevideo.
