Pay 25 pesos and climb 76 stairs to the top (a tricky ladder and hatch at the end), then enjoy the wind streaming in from the Atlantic. Sweeping views of the River Plate on one side and of the Montevideo seafront on the other.

It is wonderful to leave the big city and the busy rambla to find yourself far out on this point after a very short walk. Always nice and breezy, very quiet.

It is located on the rambla in the neiborhood called Punta Carretas. Nice to walk and visit in a nice day. It is close to many hotels and Punta Carretas Shopping Mall.
