A nineteen century jewel. A must go in Montevideo, overlooking the main Plaza, Independencua and a metrers from governent houses. Ideal complement when you walk trough Sarandi street and see all the historical buildings like Cabildo, main catedral etc a 3 hours walking trip.

A historical theatre that is very well maintained. There are guided tours or you can buy tickets for a ballet or show. It is closed to Montevideo's old city.

Went to see a play in one of the many spaces of this beautiful and well kept theater. Loved it! The installations are new, tickets easy to buy at the theater's window.
