Beautiful and luxurious mansion of the last century, built by the same French architects of the Petit Palace for a Uruguayan family, today is the Museum of Decorative Arts The entrance is free and free. It is worth a visit in the old city.

I personally love decorative arts and everything about this building is amazing. The architecture, the finishes and the setting with garden is lovely. So well preserved and elegant!

Great museum in Montevideo. I would high recommend. Beautiful building. Interesting features. Not sure as to the history of it, but I was still impressed by how it looked.

It seams to me this palace is the best museum in Montevideo. Beautiful and interesting: antic collection, architecture, interiors and pictures. It's free of charge.

The Palacio Taranco is quie a beautiful building worth photographing. However I am not entirely sure of its function. I also didn't get a chance to enter. It is situated in proximity to the Plaza Constitucion and the Old Quarter of Montevideo.
