Great place but It took my energy away....

Beautiful views, amazing structures and history. If you are out of shape like me it is quite a walk, tons of stairs.

Absolutely worse the mild effort to get here from Cusco. We did a self guided tour/hike of the ruins after taking a tivo van from Cusco (roughly 50 min) and deciding not to bother with a tour guide. We entered the site behind the market and trekked uphill to some fantastic archeological ruins and sweeping views of the valley and... More

This place blew me away. One of the most beautiful views I've ever beheld. The ruins were amazing, but the view of the valley below was wholly mesmerizing. Do yourself a favor and schedule a stop here - and the Sacred Valley in general - on your visit to the region. You won't regret it!

Amazing place that augments a visit to Machu Picchu for a more thorough understanding of Inca civilization.

Pisac is one of those ruins that you just have to hike to believe. Get a ride to the top of the ridge and enter from above, walking downhill all the way through ancient Pisac. The modern village and the outdoor market are at the bottom, and it is easy from here to get a ride in either direction, toward... More

The views and ancient ruins were spectacular. It was at the head of the sacred valley and provided sweeping vistas and a feeling of a special people and time.

It is the Largest and well established Inka site of Terraced Farming located at 3,400 meters (11,200 ft) above MSL. It is also most advances of Inka sites with Military Quarters, Royal Quarters, Urban quarters and Mountain Face Cemetery where dead mummies were buried in horizontal graves in mountain face. We found it quite Difficult to walk due to very... More
