Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Right at "Parque Municipal de Barranco", between the avenues of "San Martín" and "Almirante Miguel Grau", you will find "Iglesia de la Santísima Cruz". This is the most popular Roman Catholic church in the "Barranco" area. It replaces an old ermitage destroyed by the 1940 Lima's terrible earthquake. It was built between 1944 and 1963, with characteristics of the neoclassical and neocolonial styles. It is considered a historical munument, with a beautiful facade and an outstanding bell tower. Enjoy!

Situated across from the main square this beautiful church is worth checking out. They do give tours however we got out voted by our little one. You can however get a good feel for the church by simply walking around it and peaking in.

It's always hard to rate churches. It's quite a nice building, better on the inside than the outside. We sat inside in quite reflection for a short period and it was calming and peaceful.
