The heart of Lima

After one month in Lima, I find myself drawn to Lince more and more, it's vibrancy, streetlife, restaurants, quirky mix of architecture (amazing art deco!) such friendly people. It isn't the posh Miraflores, or the historic center...but it's just, for me...the yummiest part of Lima. Unpretentious, energetic, lively and real. It also is smack up against the metropolitano on its west and basically lies in the middle of everything. If you are a true city lover and want to see everyday Lima ...you can't be Lince!

Only if you stay longer. Miraflores and Lima center should be visited 1st. But this is another uptown type area. Get a detailed map for the attractions beside the large LINCE touristic sign. MeuterMedia

A rough around the edges, boring neighborhood that's not known for its safety during late hours. I accidentally ended up spending a week here but luckily it was about a 15 minute uber ride back to Miraflores where I'd spend most of my time.

Excellent location

Lince neighborhood Excellent, I stayed 8 days no problems parks a step away from Miraflores really excellent, with supermarkets and no problems, I rented a B&B on the 11th floor with spectacular ocean view and fabulous.
