Our group had so much fun cooking together. It was a perfect experience for the end of a week of traveling together with our kids who are on Semester at Sea. Christian made the event fun and engaging. I was impressed by the taste and presentation of the Causa (better than what I had sampled at restaurants!) that I made... More

We started the day with the market tour with Chef Diego. He was so insightful and knowledgeable not just about food but with the history and culture as well. After that we went to their kitchen on a rooftop with amazing views of the city and sampled about 25-30 native fruits. We made some traditional Peruvian dishes that I know... More

Our second time for this highly recommended class. It starts out with a trip to the market to see the vendors and then a fruit tasting before getting down to the cooking. We did the Peruvian classics including causa, ceviche, and lomo saltado. Diego took us through the recipes step by step and all was fresh and oh so tasty.... More

We had an evening class, taught by Diana. She was very good, spoke perfect English, very efficient an fun! The class is built very smart: we cooked 4 dishes in total and eat each one after we made it (so, it's better because you get to eat throughout the 2 hours you are there, so you are never too full... This is great. The apartment is really nice with some great facilities and full kitchen to clean up after you and do some of the unnecessary labor to make your life easier. Diana makes coordination easy and is quick to respond to emails and arrange whatever you're looking for. You learn lot about Peruvian cuisine in general, make some incredible... More

We had a great day under the guidance of Diego! Starting with a excursion through the public market learning about fruits, vegetables, fish and other items unique to the Peruvian diet. Then we took cabs to one of the two venues that SkyKitchen uses for their cooking classes. We spent the day in a lovely, open space full of light,... More

We had an excellent time cooking and eating with SkyKitchen. The dishes we cooked-ceviche, papas a la huacachina and ahi de gallina-ended up being some of the best food we ate in Lima.

A brilliant experience. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Superb facilities in a rooftop apartment with garden. We learnt a lot in a few hours. The lunch we cooked was wonderful and will live long in the memory. Can't recommend this highly enough. They deserve to succeed.

This is a well thought out venue for a cooking class. There were 14 of us in this group, and it worked very well. The kitchen is situated on the roof top under an awning for shade. There was a long prep table, with an adjacent table for eating. The cooking part of the kitchen is under permanent cover. Diego,... More
