I've been coming here for 16 years during visits to Lima for both family and business. It is always a fun night out with good folkloric shows, good food and drinks. The only thing is they could use more fans inside as it gets hot on a summer night... For someones first time in Peru, this is a don't miss.

Fun place if you're into cruise style mass entertainment. Everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. I went to explore Peruvian music and the band was really good. The folk dancers were energetic and vibrant. But my personal choice would be a smaller bar or cafe format with the same band, with more music and less chit chat.... More

We received free Vip tickets and felt it a waste to not go and ended up having a good time. They have the best Lomo Saltado I've had in Peru and the drinks were strong. The show is in Spanish only, but it doesn't matter since most of the show is live band and the folk dancers. We were the... More

We were a large group and needed to fill the time before our 4 am flight. This was the perfect way to end our trip to Peru. The show was supposed to begin at 10:30 but it was closer to 11 pm when it got going. The dancing was a nice introduction to the diversity of Peru, and the performers... More

We were here last night (01/10/15) and I must say it is a fun place if you have a desire to see the Peruvian folk dances and you like to dance in general.. I think it's cool they allow people to come out and dance on the big dance floor.. It's a good night.. Definitely not like going to a... More

Totally advisable place for foreign visitors, family and friends. To enjoy peruvian folk dances together with some moments of modern music for the public to dance on stage. I loved when they asked tourists to talk about our countries of origin. HAVING FUN IS THE GOAL, and the goal was totally achieved. We had good snacks, drinks and tasty dinner... More

Events started at 10.30, we stayed for two hours (we bought no meal, only went for show that costs 35 sol per pax). Show alternated between Folk dance and live folk music where people could go dancing. Appears mostly local people with big groups celebrating birthday (?), young and old enjoying themselves. We liked the show, friendly people and in... More

La Candelaria is a Peruvian Non-Governmental Organization that is dedicated to preserving Peruvian culture. They put on this traditional pena which is a great mix of traditional dancing and costumes, with traditional Peruvian pena music and dancing. The dancers come out and perform, then the next song is open to the public and everyone comes to the stage and starts... More
