They give the young people of Cusco the best they can geet
Apr. 2019
Cedna Cooking is a education centre for adults and young adults. All kinds of education, but the cooking is a special part of it. I enjoyed the Peruvean cooking. I tasted all. Not only the dinners, but also pastery. I admire the way Cedna is not only giving education, but also helping to find a job. Bravo!!

Great Class and Experience
Oct. 2018 • Couples
My boyfriend and I did a private lesson that included a tour. Ricardo was absolutely amazing at explaining the market and definitely knew his way around the kitchen. He was so much fun and had us laughing the entire time. The food was excellent and definitely easy to recreate on your own. Highly recommend this experience!

Gastronomic tour: great cultural experience!
Jul. 2018 • Couples
We did the gastronomic tour with visit to the San Pedro market and I enjoyed it a lot. Our chef Henry had a very good level of English and explained us everything about local food. I got the chance to buy some maca at the market and some strange, delicious fruits we tried there. The kitchen is big and clean, and it’s nice to see the building of the NGO and to know where the profit from these cooking classes goes. Each of us prepared our own menu and I learned so much about how to prepare quinoa in the right way, how it’s so different cooking at this altitude in Cusco, and how it is possible to get ceviche here.

It’s not only nice to learn how to prepare Peruvian dishes, for me it was also a great cultural experience. I learned a lot about food and Peru in general. For us it was a free afternoon very well spent!

the Peruvian experience everyone needs!
May 2018 • Friends
I had an amazing experience during the workshop. We were a relatively small group which is nice cause then the cook has more attention for you. It's super nice that you get to know how to make real Peruvian dishes AND you get the recipes to take back home and cook for all your friends!

I'm not a kitchen queen but even I could make these dishes :)
So if you love Peruvian cuisine and you want a really cool souvenir to take back home this is the place to be!
also a very cool fact is that if you book a workshop all the money goes to the non profit organisation which supports the local community <3

Amazing good, friendly staff, and for a good cause!
Jun. 2018 • Solo
I went to the first session of the cooking class in June. The chef was very knowledgeable, the staff was friendly, and the workshop was very organized. We ate the food afterwards too-it was honestly better than any touristy restaurant I've tried in Peru. The coordinator also emailed us the well-designed recipes in English so we can cook the dishes wherever we are. The profit from the workshop goes towards an NGO called CEDNA. I don't see why not come enjoy cooking for a good cause.

Have fun and meet new people!
Jun. 2018 • Friends
I joined the vegetarian cooking class with my brother and we both loved it. The meals were truly delicious and the chef did a great job including all of us. Besides cooking we also had a lot of fun and it was a great activity for getting to know new people. Try it out!

A very welcoming and professional cooking environment!
Jun. 2018
I was a part of the very first cooking session at Cedna Cooking in Cusco and I must say it was a very pleasant experience! The chef who held the session was extremely positive and helping towards his trainees, you really noticed that his intention was to help people and not to show off that he was a great chef (which he indeed was).

I would recommend anyone who are interested in cooking to take this class and I sure will guarantee you one thing; You are going to leave the session happy and completely satisfied!

Big kitchen, great experience
Jun. 2018 • Friends
I wanted to learn how to prepare some Peruvian dishes and came across Cedna cooking on Facebook. They organize workshops to support nutrition programs of the ngo. It was nice to see their kitchen and facilities where they train single mothers to work in restaurants or start their own businesses. The classes were fun, everyone was doing something and in the middle the chef was explaining and showing how to make it. Afterwards we got the recipe so I could try again at home. I'm not a very good cook, so it was nice to prepare it with everyone together. Afterwards there was enough for everyone to taste. The atmosphere was great and I'm glad I got to support some great projects with my contribution!
