- L H43 contributionsCusco Mountain Horseback Riding with History and a SnackWhat an incredible experience! When we had the opportunity to go horseback riding with Gabriel at Gabriel’s ranch we were excited and hoping for a memorable day—it was beyond that! Gabriel arranged transportation for us, got us comfortable with the horses we would be riding, and took us for a slow walk to warm us up to the horses (I have never ridden and my wife has years ago). From beginning to end we were comfortable, safe, and smiling ear to ear. Not only was the ride amazing, Gabriel took the time to give us a nice history lesson, make a couple of stops for important geographical Incan sites, as well as provided us time to have a nice snack! Gabriel, thank you for a wonderful experience! We 10/10 recommend this experience for anyone who wants to enjoy more of the beauty that Cusco has to offerVisited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 January 2024
- Isis M28 contributionsExceeded expectations! When we booked this tour with Gabriel we didn’t really know what to expect because it was our first day in Cusco. However, it was such a lovely experience that we will never forget. We feel like we got a special taste of Cusco that we never would have gotten otherwise. The horses were so beautifully behaved, the views were unreal, and Gabriel’s knowledge of the area and of the history was priceless. Not to mention the fact that we got our own private tour just by luck because the other tourists called sick at the last minute. We are sooo grateful for Gabriel’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!!!Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 January 2024

I had a great time on my mystical ride in Cusco. I was picked up promptly at 9 and brought to Gabriel'sl ranch not too far out of town. My horse had a wonderful temperament and was responsive. The ride provided stunning views of the city and surrounding mountains and the Incan ruins were very interesting. 100% recommend!

What a wonderful experience we had riding with Gabriel. The ranch is is in a great location and the horses are well cared for and it shows. Gabriel took us out and we rode under his mature leadership. We stopped at two Inca sites and he patiently explained the history. It was fascinating. We’d highly recommend this adventure for beginner or experienced riders.

We had an absolute blast with Gabriel. The horses were SO well looked after. The ranch had enough horses that they rotated them through the day so no horse was over worked. As we took our ride we stopped at multiple places so the horses could rest, and also so Gabriel could tell us the history of the amazing places we visited. Not only is he great with horses, he’s also an amazing guide, so knowledgeable.
Gabriel we can’t thank you enough for a wonderful tour💜 If you’re in Cusco out this in your to do list. No experience needed!!

This was an amazing tour! They fed us snacks, told us about the horses, showed us a Temple of the Moon, and showed us caves. The employees worked hard to make sure we were comfortable (they adjusted my stirrups three times) and were super informative and kind. They even picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel!

I came to Peru for a week long trip going to all the different cities and historical Inca locations. With this tour I got to learn more about Peru's great history and see ancient artifacts that you normally wouldn't get to see on any other Horse riding tour. The horses were very comfortable to ride and better than any other I've rode before. I can tell the company really cares for its animals like family! I really enjoyed our tour guide Gabriel as well. He was very insightful and eager to answer any questions we had!

Very professional and friendly! Gabriel came to pick us up directly at the hotel in the Cusco's center and brought to his ranch North of town, where we began our tour (approx 2 and half hours). It was a good balance between horse riding and history. We visited the Temple of the Moon and some caves. Great landscapes especially at sunset! Snacks and a drink included for a quick break on the mountain. They have a deep respect for their horses: e.g., everytime they can they remove the horse's bit and let them rest. Finally, they brought us back to the hotel. Definitely a great experience to do while in Cusco!

I had an amazing experience at Gabriel’s Ranch. He asked me about my experience and gave me a horse based on that. Gabriel is very knowledgeable about the sites we went to and the scenery was beautiful. It’s clear that Gabriel and his family care a lot about horses and they are very well treated.
