Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The staff are helpful and friendly and they seemed pleased that people were visiting. Lockers are provided for bags and cameras are permitted. We would have liked more about the Incas but the experience was very worthwhile.

Interesting if you want to learn the history of one of Cuzco more famous sons that had a lot of influence both in Cusco as well as in Spain with his writings and novels both of the New world and the old world. Interesting building as his original house

The museum is divided in different parts, only the first one was very well presented. The rest of the visit was still very interesting thanks to our great guide, Hugo.

This Casa of the Inca Garcilaso is included on the Tourist Ticket (see Museum of Regional History). Small overall but includes some interesting exhibits. I didn't know the history of this inca-spanish chronicler but the casa provides information ans a short movie about his life and writings. I later purchased his well-noted 1609 book, The Royal Commentaries of the Inca. If you already have the tourist ticket, drop in for a quick visit.

This museum exhibits an interesting collection of archaeological objects from pre-Inca and Inca culture. It provides a well constructed illustration of the natural and archaeological history of Cusco and the Sacred Valley. It also has a collection of colonial paintings and furniture. It tells about the interesting life and writings of Inca Garcilaso de la vega.

It's a tiny little museum, good for a quick cultural outing. The first flor was very enjoyable and we could learn a lot about the prehispanic Peruvian peoples, but the second flor was just Christian sacred art, with all the white-washed saints and their pink cheeks... I was very disapointed, TBH.

At this museum you can find several items from the Inca Empire, but unfortunately you won't receive information about Garcilaso de la Vega, the owner of this house and an important cronist of the Inca Culture. I was a little disappointed about this museum, the Inka Museum is better.
