A must if you come to Cusco. Do not forget to buy your pink salt that's the best. You won't regret to visit these site.

Due to time constraints we wanted to see sacred valley and salinas de Maras in one day. We found an agency for a decent price of around 50 usd and were not disappointed. We liked it a lot wandering around the pools!

This is a fascinating place. The Incas made pits to store water that is saturated with salt. Very unusual.

These are the salt mines where salt is extracted from the water coming out of the mountain. Very interesting. Great photo opportunity. The people are very nice.

Worth visiting and didn't cost very much. This one is on its own and wasn't combined with others into a ticket (those are kind of a waste because only a few sites are worth visiting).

Hi, you said you purchased salt. How much did you pay for 500g of salt? Did you buy both course and fine salt? They sell it in Lima in 500g bags for about 6 Sol each. Thanks

There is 3 types of salt. One for consomption, the second also for your kitchen but larger and the third for your body and health. Bought the 3 rd catégorie 10 soles for 3 kg.
