There are a few very good exhibits in the museum but overall it's an average museum. It's entry fee is included in the Boleto Turistico de Cusco so if you have time or are particularly into contemporary art have a look.

The Municipal Palace Museum is a lovely building with a small museum inside. It is on the tourist pass and the museum is actually quite small so you pop in and out very quickly.

Walked by here a couple of times before realizing it was the museum as well. It was worth the effort with lots of more contemporary art on display. Also a part of the Tourist Bolsa

A bit surprised at some the reviews of this place. I note that most of them seemed to be average or somewhat poor. I didn't actually go inside so I won't be able to comment on interest of the museum itself. However the building is quite beautiful from the outside.

It pains me to say this about a museum but My God, they couldnt have made this place any more boring if they tried. You go in and five minutes later (or much less) you're outside again wondering why you went in.

This is just horrid. It is part of an office building. I have no idea why it is called a museum. It takes about 300 seconds to see everything. It is part of the 135soles cusco tourist card. If you enjoy non-description photographs of random things without any context then go along. It really is totally dull apart from watching... More

First of all location of the museum is marked incorrectly on the interactive map. It is located on Plaza Regocijo same square where you can also find Cusco Regional History Museum. Personally I love modern art so I enjoyed this visit though I would not consider exceptional work of art most of the exhibited items. What makes this place special... More
