I'm happy to have done the Salkantay Trek and Condor Sight with Tierras Vivas because the trek was simply fabulous!! I've chosen this trail because it offered something new and extra compared to standard Salkantay treks. It meant condor watching. It was really awesome to observe condors soaring over a very deep canyon on the first day!! I could also... More

AMAZING! We had Franklin as our guide and his knowledge of all the old inca sites was very impressive! The porters were amazing we didnt have to lift a finger when it came to setting up camp. The chef Carlos was unbeleivable as well it was something to look forward to while trekking up those massive mountains. One night we... More

The trek was 4 days and 3 nights starting at Piskakucho (the start of the Incan trail) to Machu Picchu. My group consisted of just me and two other girls with our tour guide, Franklin.... More

Our guide Adner was very friendly, helpful and competent. It was a great adventure to walk over the pass although the weather was mean. The staff around Adner was also very friendly. The camp was already set up when we arrived after a day of hiking. At all times we felt very comfortable on our tour. On the last day... More

I booked a 2-day Inca Trail tour to Machu Picchu with Tierras Vivas about 6 weeks before my trip to Peru. Although I will say there a few things they could do better, overall, they went above and beyond for an excellent experience. A quick background: My itinerary had my flying into Cusco on Friday Nov. 18th with my 2-day... More

The crew at Tierras Vivas made our trip unforgettable. They were laid back yet professional. They accommodated our veggie/vegan diets deliciously. Our guide Washington was a teacher, motivator and so supportive. Our chef and porters worked so hard and we could not have done it without all of them.
