Go here if you get a chance. Just a short walk up hill from the main plaza. There are many unique arts stores here. If I were to do cusco again I would stay here. Check out the meeting place for amazing ice-cream, lavender tea,...More

We are happy we found San Blas neighborhood before we left Cusco. We had a take away coffee at Plaza San Blas and then just wandered around in the cobblestoned streets, enjoying old inka buildings and cute streets.

It's a bit of a climb from Plaza de Armas, but well worth it for picturesque streets and great dining:)

San Blas is the best of Cusco. Great shops and cafes. Love walking all the little allyways of this maze of history.

The square itself was smaller than i expected, but the area itself has many interesting shops and restaurants. This is definitely worth a walk to if you are not staying in this area, don't let the hills/stairs discourage you!

Loved the feel of this city. You feel like you are in a different era. Our hotel was in San Blas area, this place has a charm to it. Enjoyed roaming around in narrow alleys of this beautiful part of the town.

Doesn't look much from the outside but don't be fooled. Here is some of the best local cuisine can get in Cusco, and it won't set you back more than 10 soles. I would recommend the falafel stand to the left as you enter, wonderful....More

We found some great local art and crafts here, and the little plaza has a very pretty waterfall type fountain.

Most of the small shops are open until 9pm, especially the ones in the center, near Plaza de Armas. The markets, though, close at 5pm.
