Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great neighbourhood with lots of beautiful shops displaying artwork. Less busy than the central square. Be sure to walk to the viewpoint for a view of Cusco and the mountains that surround.

There are is wonderful to experience. So much to see, taste, and try. Close to the residential areas, San Blas quickly became our favorite area with more tranquility than the main square, countless vegan options, and incredibly fascinating indigenous art.

Be of the best places in Cusco. The artistic view of the city. Lots of artists sharing their work and narrow roads full of cozy places to eat, have coffee, or drink. You can feel the difference of that area, it's not that touristic as the rest of Cusco and the view is amazing - mostly at the night. You should visit, spend some time there and enjoy the vibes of the area. Totally recommended for everyone and definitely you may come back again and again.

Loved this neighbourhood. We stayed here during our time in Cusco, Quieter here than the main square. Loved all the arts and crafts stores. Love the cobblestone streets.

San Blas is very beautiful and it feels like a little town within Cusco. The church and lovely town square with its fountain and vendors are calm and friendly. The architecture shows the history of the area and the colors and textures are striking. Be ready to walk a lot of stairs/hills and take a coca supplement if you are feeling the effects of the altitude.

You need to be in form to climb all the way there, but worth it. It is a beautiful tour in Cusco and kind of a loop from the center and coming back from the other side.

Easily reached from the center of Cusco by walking. the artisans market in the Plaza San Blas is less crowded than the central market and some of those who displayed their wares had stores near by.
