This neighborhood square was walkable form our hotel. We loved how safe we felt and the restaurant there, PachaPapa was so good that we ate there three times over the course of our 10 day trip. There is a great local artisan craft fair on...More

We stumbled on San Blas and we were glad we did. it is a hive of cottage industries offering a range of goods. There is lovely hand-made jewellery on offer and always a deal to be done. There is a water feature and the pretty...More

We used this district to stay for 2 trips to cuzco and can only recommend it as such. Safe to walk at night, nice surroundings and quick to the elevated viewpoint. Best choice for Cuzco as a tourist!

San Blas is so nice. So much calmer as the other parts of the city! Also the streets, bars and restaurants are so much nicer.

Only stayed here one night but if I were to go back, I would look into staying around here. A little nicer than downtown but an easy walk to the square. Lots of food and shops here too. Antigua B & B was real nice!

We liked staying at an Airbnb in San Blas. It was far enough away from the centre to be quiet, but also a relatively easy walk (although it is up hill on the way back). There are several cute little vegan restaurants and bakeries in...More

An attractive square next to a beautiful church in Cusco that makes you want to sit and watch the world pass by. Also has a restaurant that sells Guinea pig for 9 sols !! A clean and attractive part of the town centre.

Most of the small shops are open until 9pm, especially the ones in the center, near Plaza de Armas. The markets, though, close at 5pm.
