If it's something you can afford to see during your lifetime even just once Machu Picchu is a must. The view from atop Montana Picchu is breathtaking.

Went to Cusco with no reservations for anything. Searched for the Machu Picchu tourist-state office, bought the tickets to MP, onwards to Inca Rail. Very friendly lady who explained us all, sold us one day there and back tickets (leave at 05:55h in Poroy 20min...More

The train ride was great. We did give our kids a little children's Dramamine since the train does have a fair amount of turbulence. The staff was great and the kids had a blast on their train ride.

We took the Incarail train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, and the service was great. The train left (and arrived) on time, they had delicious beverages included and a little snack. The chairs were comfortable, but a little small. THE VIEW is simply amazing! But...More

Someone should tell British rail how to treat customers as you feel like royalty on these. Very clean and drinks service is great. Lovely experience which was not expected so all the more welcome. Not cheap however.

A two company monopoly that charges way too much. The airlines charge less for transportation than the trains. RIDICULOUS!!!!! Also, the snacks served were terrible. I don't know what the cookie snacks were, but nobody in the car ate them.

We booked our tickets for Inca Rail online leaving from Ollantaytambo to MP. We were instructed to pick up the tickets from the ticket office my question is does it matter what ticket office? Can we pick them up from the one in Ollantaytambo? And if so how far is the ticket office from the train station?

No, it doesn't matter which ticket office you buy it from. We booked it online, and got our tickets from the Cusco office, although our train was from Ollantaytambo.

To Inca Rail, While I was paying the tickets the site crashed. I've received the credit card debit for the tickets but no email confirmation. Can you please tell me how can have confirmation of the tickets or how can I get in contact with your customer service? Thank you
