We were looking so forward to this class but ended up being let down. The instructor wasn't very nice. He was very rude to my daughter and several others in the group. We had chocolate left over and he would not allow anyone to use an extra mold to finish out the chocolate. There was very little "hands on" and most of the class was listening to him talk about chocolate. The end result wasn't very tasty and not edible.

Good content and setting. I am sorry I did not have the option to make my personal candies using white chocolate. The dark chocolate oxidized very quickly and was too unappealing to offer to our friends once we returned home.

Outstanding chocolate making workshop. It was fun, rewarding, and hands-on learning. The chocolate making process from the cacao bean to the chocolate bar was beyond my expectations. I loved the presenter. He was so engaged and witty. He made this workshop so fun. We made chocolate candy and it tasted so good. Thank you.

The entire experience was amazing. It included lots of information about the chocolate creation process and at the end you could have so much fun creating your own chocolate.

My mother and I booked this workshop for 1:30pm on a Thursday afternoon. We arrived ahead of time and to our surprise, the class didn’t start until 5-10 minutes late.

70% of the class consisted of the instructor teaching us different things about cocoa and chocolate, which is great, but we wanted more time actually making chocolate. When it finally came time to pick our molds and pick toppings, the instructor became increasingly rude. He told our group of 8 to pick our toppings, which I did, and was then yelled at in front of everyone for picking my topping. After everyone molded their chocolate, EVERYONE had leftover. We were NOT allowed to pick another mold and use the chocolate that we paid for. “One per person” as the instructor said, even though using chocolate that we already paid for would have not cost them anything. Therefore, everyone ended up wasting some.

Several people had to ask for water throughout the class, as it was not provided. For bottles, it was a cost. For a cup, it was free, however after 3 people, they ran out of cups of water and only had hot water. We have been to cooking classes all across the world and ALL have offered at least one glass of free water.

Overall, this was a nice experience, but the least favorite workshop we have ever done. I would not do it again.

Our group of 6 had so much fun learning to make chocolate. The lesson was fun, humourous, and hands-on. From age 9 to 65, everyone in our group enjoyed it!

My family and I did the bean to bar experience and it was fantastic!! We learned and actually did the entire process from the raw bean to roasting, grinding, coco butter separation, tempering and then creating our own chocolate treats. You could choose between 70% dark or milk chocolate. We also got to sample cocoa tea which is made with the shells of the cocoa bean, sugar and hot water, as well as a drink made from the ground chocolate and another that was made with milk, cinnamon and clove. We were also given samples of milk, white, dark and super dark. Ana was so informative and fun. I would highly recommend including this in a trip to Peru. The chocolate is fantastic and so pure, not like the commercial stuff sold in the United States!!

This was a super fun experience in Cusco. Our chocolate teacher was well educated on chocolate making and very funny. We also got to make a ton- like a TON- of personalized chocolate to take home with us. I would definitely recommend this experience.
