There was water available for purchase at pretty much all the rest stops at fairly reasonable prices. Also the cook heated water for everyone in the morning. We brought water tablets, but never needed to use them. I would... More

I brought purification tablets, though that they can be bought in Cusco. You will be able to buy water on the Inca Trail. Bring them if you have them . The pills do not take up much room . I don't think we used ours. I think... More
