Nothing compares - even in the rainy season. Had a great family trip and avoided ALL the crowds - felt like an Inca King. Physically fabulous exercise, and culturally stunning. JUST DO IT!!!

There is no shortage of scenery or dramatic views. Your heart rate will climb as you ascend toward the heavens. There is a time for everyone to be at a specific place and mine was met on the Salkantay Trek.

one of my most amazing travel experiences. The trip up salkantay is immensely rewarding. Renzo is a top guide: polite, vigilant, great conversationalist. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to push themselves a bit during the holidays.
