Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are looking for a beautiful, authentic piece of Peru to take home, this is the store. It is not full of touristy stuff. This store has handmade, quality items and you can tell the difference. Save yourself some time and shop here! Great prices too!

Came into this shop while looking for a local restaurant. As others have mentioned, it's a family business. The staff are friendly and helpful, the craftsmanship is amazing, and the prices are reasonable. The piece we bought has a three dimensional effect and certainly took many hours to create. There are other less expensive items in the shop as well, that deserve your attention. Peru textiles are really something special!

My wife and I stumbled on this place while we were walking around after dinner. We spent a fair amount of time looking at all of the handmade items and were pleased to learn that most of them are made by the family. We were helped by the owners son and he was great at showing us everything we were interested in. This family run business is a must for anyone visiting Cusco.

From the fairly glowing reviews I tracked this place down but was disappointed. The alpaca scarves, when I questioned the salesperson, were machine made. Go to the center for traditional textiles of Cusco for the real thing.

Bumped into this place on accident and it ended up being exactly what we wanted. The quality in all the products here is extremely high and the prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. If you want something that is nicer than the same old souvenir items but don't want to spend your money unwisely this is the place for you. It is also Family run, the items are made by the father and we met the son inside the store. Awesome shop!

This place is a hidden gem! The quality of work is top notch and you can immediately tell that it is hand weaved with the highest quality of materials used. I bought three pillow cases and could not be happier. Don't be struck by the price, it could seem costly however the amount of work this family puts into each piece, makes it something that you will keep with you forever and have a great memory of. Highly recommend this incredible place!

We accidentally discovered this shop on our way to dinner. It is a quite small family owned shop that features original weavings by Marcelino Pomataylla Bautista and his wife. The weavings are beautiful and highly skilled, quality work. We purchased one and are thrilled with this work of art. The artists create wall hangings, table runners, pillows and other small items. Various other collectibles reflecting Peruvian culture are available as well. The shop is run by the Artist's son and Daughter-in-Law who were lovely to work with as well.
