There you will find shopping centers, coffe shops, is the average pedestrian comercial street. A lot of fast food places some locals and the most foreigners.

Calle Mercaderes is Arequipa's main pedestrian street. It is full of stores and coffee shops. For shoes shopping, I recommend Ojeda; for sandwiches, La Lucha; for cakes, Capriccio; and for coffee and snacks, Manolo.

One of the pedestrian only streets in the city centre, this is the busiest and boasts the usual tat like McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC, as well as local clothes shops etc. Nice place for a stroll without being run over.

This is a beautiful street to walk down, as you make your way to the Plaza De Armas and the Arequipa Basilica. There are wonderful shops and restaurants to visit and no cars. It is a very safe and secure area.

This calle belongs to the centre and did not especially thrill us, standard shops, no nice hidden places. There are other calle and places to put more interest into.
