Very beautiful courtyard to visit with shops and sometimes an artist is there with paintings to sell. The top level has a good place for cheese and wine but gives a view of all the mountains and good for taking photos. Worth a look in the court yard and doesn't take long nor is there a fee for enterance but... More

At the edge of the Plaza de Armas, one may have to make several attempts before getting inside, as the church seems to be open at somewhat erratic hours. Well worth the wait to see the interior of a richly decorated church. With a personal interest in Santiago, I was fascinated by the huge bas-relief of the saint on the... More

For us, this was the most beautiful Church we saw in Arequipa along with Santa Catalina Monastery. Beautifully intricate and ornate with a magnificent imposing facade and gorgeous interior. So peaceful inside despite the plentiful tourists. So much colour and splendour with wonderful religious art and iconography. Highly recommended.

If you like to be transported in time to those colonial times , visit this place , its really beautiful and solemn. There is a San Ignacio chapel there , it has wonderful paintings and decorations you will really enjoy . It's a must in the city. You don't need to pay for a city tour, everything is so close

Absolutely stunning church with impressive facade and equally impressive interiors. It is valuable to get a guide but not at all necessary to appreciate such a find.

Definitely worth a visit while in Arequipa. Lot of history of the Incan times. Is close to the plaza de areas. Make sure to go with a local tour guide.

In this church you will see paintings from Peruvian artist, and also see some pictures of saints. But the most interesting thing is th Architecture, and you also can visit the monks house. Nowadays it became into commercial places, like places to eat or drink, but can go around and appreciate how it was built and have some nice views.

Thank Rrebatah
