I think agencies to make the cost cheaper for them, hire amateurs or not real guides at all, I also have seen many taxis there, agencies tend to sell the tour but send you there with taxis without a guide, do not rely on the cheap prices they offer the tours to this place.

Unless you really like volcanic rock quarries, you might skip this. The only real attraction is the cliff wall carving, which is a recent work, definitely not ancient. The rest of quarry is part touristy part dusty workplace. V diff to find on our own

It is really amazing to see how the community is building this touristic place. Totally recommended! Support the community :) and go to visit Señor Claudio for the demonstration of their daily work, it is amazing :)

I have been to the quarries 2 times, in both of them I loved it, especially for the hard work of the stonecutters, you can really see the culture and the skill they have in the art of carving, this place is only for those who appreciate History and culture , all the stonecutters give very good explanations! don't be afraid to ask: 3 Not many know, but the stonecutters do not have the support of public institutions, and if they could give them a tip it would help them a lot :) RECOMMENDED!!…
