The Church of St. Agustin is absolutely massive. You can't miss it as it sits dead center in the Plaza de Armas. Its a stunning church absolutely worth a visit. You do have to pay to get inside however. To us it was worth it.

The church has an interesting interior with unique stonework and decor. We were there on Saturday and the property attracted a good crowd.

Nice church off the main square. Easy to get to. Some interesting stain glass windows on the inside. There are a few market vendors out the front. Tip: Be careful of the beggars / 'charity' collectors who hang out at the front of the church....More

Next to the San Augustine cloistered convent. The architecture is stunning with neo-classical altars of gold. Mass is said every day so visits before and after. Or go to mass as we did

It's a place of worship. So, why charge admission fees. Knowing the stupidity of the Catholics, we just waited till Sunday and went in for free.
