The ashlar is the origin of the architecture of the White City and its tourist route is developed in the district of Cerro Colorado. In addition to the natural landscapes of the area, you can observe the process of extraction, styling and megatallado of the ashlar.<br><br>It has the necessary infrastructure and tourist services such as interpretation workshops, with the presence of sillar cutters; information panel areas; tourist signage; parking lot; Purchase of handicrafts in sillar and rest areas.<br><br>The sillar route is managed by the Sillar Cutters Network - Arequipa. It currently comprises a length of 2,000 meters, covering the quarries in operation of Añashuayco, Cortadores and the virgin quarry of Culebrillas.

I thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous colonial building and the wonderful art. The museum is world-class and my guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommend a visit!

Visited this museum around 3pm, paid 20/s each to enter. It was very quiet with only a couple of other people there and most of the rooms only contained paintings. Great place to visit if you are into art. Ticket sales office also sold pastries that the nuns bake which were cheap and delicious.

In general, in Arequipa is recommendable to visit the different tourist attractions with a guide. This is a monasterio that is not to long ago open for tourist visit.
