Beautiful restored watermil, where one can see how it works. Not impressie. Nices are the Llama’s around this area that were shown. Nice place because of its green fields and shadow. Good for photographing weddings and other celebrations, but ontging more.

This architectural masterpiece was built in 1785 as the first mill of its kind in the area. Although the structure fell into a dilapidated state, it was restored in 1973. This centuries-old mill, powered by a nearby waterfall, is in operation, grinding grains and flours,...More

Very nice and unexpected green place in the desert region of Arequipa, the mill mixes history, animals and peace for a great moment as a couple or with kids...

This is the old grist mill for the Sabandia hacienda. The grounds are well kept and it gives a glimpse of how a grist mill functions. Nice quiet spot that is well landswcaped.

Visited 16 years ago and wanted to go back. Lovely grounds, water wheels that show how corn was ground in this old mill years ago, and a restaurant nearby for snacks, beers, or food. Some tourist stuff offered like horse rides but those seem to...More

After missing this attraction on a trip nine years ago, we decided to make the effort this time. Even with our own vehicle, the effort wasn't worth it. You walk thru the mill (1 interpretive sign), out the back stairs, around via the animals, and...More

If you you would like to spend some time far from the city you should go there. Green grass to do some activities: make a BBQ, to play some sports, canopy, horse riding, quads, a mini little zoo, etc.
