This plaza is relaxing and invites to enjoy some quiet moments as the entire city does, nice and tranquil with good food and nightlife options. Furthermore we'd like to state that also the bus rides from and to Cuenca were spectacular through nice landscapes. We...More

This the center of Cuenca. A small park close to banks, shops and a great ice cream (and more) restaurant.

I like the colonial feel in the downtown area. We stayed 2 blocks away. There are city bus tours you can catch there. A must!

We've spent time in Calderon almost every day since we've been in Cuenca (5 weeks). It's always interesting and a real good way to observe Ecuadorian life. Centrally local located in the historic el centro, its near restaurants, churches and stores. Don't miss it!

Parque Calderón, at the heart of Cuenca, is a great place to just stop and relax and enjoy the culture of Cuenca. There's always a lot of people there.
