I live here and walk along the river almost every day. It is peaceful and beautiful, and important anchor in this city (along with the other rivers of Cuenca).

This is a great walking area away from all the traffic and smog and is very peaceful. It also has some very nice houses & condominiums on both sides. It is one of the better areas of Cuenca and also runs along Gringo.

There is a beautiful walkway along the river. We were staying at the Hotel Victoria and there were quite a few restaurants overlooking the river with outdoor eating terraces in that area.

Really nice walk far from noisy and polluted streets. A good way to appreciate the local architecture. I only wish I saw less graffiti marks.

I don't understand what you mean by "Open". It's a white-water river and in the city it's a park. I live along the river, and my dog walks it every day. Quite nice. It is lighted at night, and patrolled by the park... More
