Might have the gold in the altar just about right-- not too much like La Compania. Ceilings done in interesting white and pink as are some of the walls. Lots of paintings and strange red tapestry. Probably the 4-5th most interesting church in Quito. Has...More

This is a beautiful place, and while I'm not Catholic, I felt moved. The structure is beautiful and very early in the morning the people that live here go to pray. Put some money in the donation box near the door.

I just wandered why Catholic churches here in Quito are closed during the day. This church is not an exception - it was closed during my visit. I just took pictures outside and hope that it would finally open before I leave Quito.

This is a beautiful, functioning church. Plenty of vendors outside selling to locals and tourists alike. Good for crowd watching.
