I'm not sure what the fuss is about. Paying to get into a church I expected it to be much more impressive than this. Sure, the quantity of gold is amazing, but without being able to understand the explanations (in Spanish only) I was not...More

The Church of the Company of Jesus is a masterpiece of Colonial Spanish architecture, resplendently carved in what appears to be the Baroque style of the 1600's and then 24k gold-leaved throughout the building. It is nothing less than awesome, stunning, wonderful. Yet, that gold...More

$2 to get in. Really old stuff inside - lots of side rooms and explanations of everything (in spanish!). Don't need to be religious to appreciate everything!

So much gold yet it seemed tasteful. I wish I could have taken photos to remember it and show to friend. This was by far my favorite site in Quito.

Definitely NOT the top church to visit. Just another overdone Baroque church with little notable individuality. Although your are given a pamphlet to help explain the interior and history, it is very small print and very dark inside so rather useless unless you are carrying...More

Every inch inside the Iglesia de La Campanía de Jesus is lavishly decorated with gold leaf. The effect is quite stunning and not as garish as it sounds. There's a lovely view of the organ loft looking back from the altar.

Almost the entire interior is painted with gold, Very beautiful. Reminds me of the cathedral in Porto Portugal.

Loved it. This is a magnificent church. Must see if visiting Quito. It's made of gold leaves and it's near many other attractions.

I’m not sure, however each fee’s are very reasonable, some just take donations. I don’t believe we paid more than $5 pp at any of these churches and we visited several. You might try Quinto Tourism for that question.

Puedes conseguir info en la pagina oficial de la fundación, sin embargo el precio de la boda rondaba entre los 500 dólares.
