La Capilla del Hombre is a museum built from the idea of Ecuadorian artist Oswaldo Guayasamín in honor of mankind. It is full of great pieces of artwork of Ecuadorian artists. If you have time when in Quito, visit this place.

Together with the authors house the place gives you an exact idea of the kind of painter he was and his ideas about society. Very interesting to see with a guide.

Went to see without knowledge of the artist. So glad we did. Setting is beautiful, learning about the native Ecuadorian artist was very interesting. His artwork is pretty amazing. Very forward thinking man with a strong message. Thouroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend.

In this place you can find the most important pictures of Guayasamin; the best plastic artist of Ecuador. With these picture you can feel the sentiment of aborigen american people.

Quite disturbing some of the drawings not knowing of the artist before coming. Very useful to have the English speaking guided tour to give some back ground.

This is a very powerful space... a definite must do for Quito. The artist Guayasami has created a beautiful space to house his art work to celebrate human. The focus is on Latin American story, and he has done an amazing job.

The artworks in here are so very large. The themes are intense. Although we hadn't previously known the artist, we enjoyed our visit there and the tour of his home.
