If you walk from the bus station towards the main part of town, you could come past this arch celebrating the British colony. The arch and the park and the street are not maintained well.

Well worth a visit if you are interested in the history of immigrants in Valparaiso. You can look at the bronze reliefs and take a stroll in the rose garden.

We visited this memorial arch on our day trip to Valparaíso. I have to say that there is nothing overly special about it, so I would not recommend that you make a special effort to see it.

The arc it self sits in a stroke of green close to the water. In it self nice to look at but surroundings not that great and be ware here a bit of pickpockets.

El Arco Britanico is definitely one of the more impressive monuments in Valparaiso. It is well kept and the little park around it is also clean. Worth visiting if in the area

We went by the Arc a few times last week and were not that impressed with it. First, it should be called El Arco Francia since it look more like a cheaper Arc de Tiomphe. The design is still very nice, just doesn't fit in...More
