Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small historic sector near the Republica subway station. A graffiti of the famous "near-touching hands" artwork can be found on Concha y Toro street. This neighbourhood is similar in appearance to Barrio Paris-Londres and is quite small. A trip out here could be combined with a stroll through Barrio Brasil and Barrio Yungay, which are nearby.

This is definietly the largest vineyard I've been to. Tours are quite frequent and informative and due the popularity there appears to be over 10 people in each group. We organised this through Lomit which included transport from our hotel in Santiago.

We had an excellent half day guided tour to this beautiful vineyard.
It really is the most beautiful setting. The guide was very informative and gave us plenty of opportunities to sample different varieties of grapes before going on to sample several different wines having learned how the grapes are harvested and the wine made.
A highly recommended visit.

When downtown and you want to see the old colonial style of Santiago I whole heartedly recommend a visit. It only requires an hour or longer over lunch. The main attraction is the Plaza when you can enjoy the beautiful former mansions. If this was Paris, New York or London these former palaces would be trendy shops, bars and lofts, but that is sadly not the case yet! However the small barrio is an oasis of tranquility of the former elegant centre of the city. Combine it with the Cultural centre La Moneda for a pleasant morning trip.

One of the most traditional neighbourghood of Santiago. Interesting architerture and great variety of restaurants with a good style, delicious food and chances to taste Chilean wines and local beers.

This small area of "Concha y Toro" street (yes, Concha y Toro as the famous winery) is a charming little street in the middle of Brazil neighborhood in downtown Santiago. Worthwhile a visit if you want to see a different face of the city.

Named after the Chilean winery and hugely atmospheric, this quarter reminds me of some quiet neighbourhood in Paris or Madrid---in the southern hemisphere. The highlight is the Plaza Concha y Toro, which has a gentrified restaurant on one side but dilapidated mansions on the others and get this---they are all slightly different. Well worth an hpour's relaxation on one of the benches---if there aren't people already sleeping on them!
