Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We wanted to have a day wine tour out of Santiago, and most recommended Mendoza. However, we didn't want to spend more time in a bus or shuttle than in the wineries themselves, so we found a tour on Viator that visited Isla de Maipo, one hour south of Santiago. We did this on Monday which apparently was a no wine tour day but someone had booked us so we had a private tour with Felipe....four wineries, local breakfast, local lunch, and much history from Felipe.....it was superb...we left at 9:30 and got back to our hotel at 7:00...Felipe speaks great English and was a real joy to be with. Would strongly recommend this tour in an Maipo wine area.

Paseo del Vino is a small educational winery in Maipo.

We had the good fortune to be offered a lecture and tasting by Robert.

It was established that vineyard conditions were excellent here.

We experienced wine making, bottling, tasting, and a hearty Chilean dinner.
