A must! This park is large and beautiful with amenities for all! The view of the mountains in the east is unparalleled. Always lots of people exercising, a great sense of community.

I go there for both, afternoon jogging or picnica. You have food trucks and even some restaurant, nice environment. Even some pubs for the afteroffice or just night partying.

I felt very safe alone here during the day, just doing exercise. Nighttime is fun to walk through too because it gets busier. Pretty lighted fountain with music! Lovely rose gardens.

Yes, get off at metro station Escuela Militar. A few steps away is the C20, a bus that goes ONLY to Parque Arauco (it makes continuous loops). Bus is inc in price of metro ticket. OR it's about 10-15 min. pleasant... More
