Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantasilandia has some decent rides and would actually be a fantastic theme park if it weren't for the excessively long queues for every single ride (an hour or more). If this was bad enough, the Chilean people don't seem to understand the concept of a queue, constantly jumping the line it is very painful and the staff just don't seem to care.
It is very reasonably priced at US $17 per person.
I would also suggest eating a lot before coming to the park as the food is just atrocious, the hot dogs are not hot as the name would suggest and made my partner and I feel sick for the rest of the day.
Wait times may be contributed to the fact that it was winter school holidays but if the staff were more organised and stopped people for jumping in line the lines would be a lot shorter.
Sorry to gripe this is not usually my style but it was a truly unpleasant day

Expect things to work just like a modern park in the us or Europe including a good security check before going in. Tickets can be purchased in cash or electronic, very short line right after opening time. We went for the good rides first: all roller coasters and other high adrenaline rides. Lines were long but not unreasonably long given the quality of the rides which were all good. Good security measures when needed. Information boards available everywhere, lockers, etc etc. The line for food was not too long but the wait time was terrible. We waited for food more than any of the rides so go for lunch early. The newest ride Icarus did not have a place where to leave your stuff and you are not allowed to take anything with you. Be sure you check before you get in line. You can purchase a locker ticket for 1k pesos which is good for TWO uses... use your receipt to get your second token free.

As far as amusement parks are concerned this is surprisingly modern and nice with lots of shade, good bathrooms and nice food areas. Having recently had a Disneyland visit that was horrid with a billion people crowding you, long waits for rides, expensive food and scorching sun, I was impressed by the atmosphere at Fantasylandia. It was easy to find shady benches to sit. Nice mix of rides with good options for little ones. Not expensive either.

Fantasilandia is a great park, has lots of games for all ages, the ticket is a bit pricey but you get to pay almost all attractions on that fee. I had a great time with my 15 years old boy.

We traveled with a four year old, and there are many rides she can't go on because of height (they are strict) but enough to keep us busy for the day. We had tons of fun. Note - I think this place would be great for teens as well - lots of fun "dare devil" rides!

Fantasilandia Is no Six Flags Magic Mountain (Los Angeles) but overall is still a good place to have a fun day. All kinds of rides for Kids and for Adults. (The rides are divided into "thrilling", "gentle" and "childish) Fantasilandia has Water Rides, shows, Haunted Houses, Bumper Cars, Trains, and my Favorite The Raptor Rollercoaster,
I had a great time and yes the waiting time might be long (one hour) but then again so is Magic Mountain, Disneyland, but overall is worth it

This can be place to spend a fun day for you and the kids. There are rides right from the wee ones to the adventurous ones. There is a train that takes you around the park and you can do it when you need a break from it all. You can do the rides over and over again and if you choose a week-day you can have the rides all to yourself for a reduced price. Check their timings before you go since the timings are seasonal. Our kids (aged 10 and 4) could not get enough done in the 3 hours we were there. There is also a parade that goes through the park to end the day; if you plan on staying till the closing time, be sure to take a look at this colorful parade. it goes around the park, so you will catch it wherever you are.
There is food on site (we did not buy any though) and you can't bring your own. The bathrooms are well maintained and strollers are available.

We found out about the park by pure chance and what a find! We visited on the Saturday we were due to take a late night flight and arrived at midday to find the park almost empty. It transpired it opened at 12.00 and closed at 7.00 pm. No queues, lots of rides, just an all round excellent theme park, right in the middle of the city. Reduced price for seniors, so good value if you take the kids. We had a lot of fun - I got to feel young again.

I personally have grown up in Disney world. I was expecting the worse but I was pleasantly surprised. You see families and locals enjoying themselves so much that it's impossible to not have fun. The rides have an awkward familiarity to some of the Disney rides and the other rides are very similar to what you would see at a county fair. Good times! Take your family, go with your friends, its FUN
