The church dates from the 18th century. It is a Chilean national monument. Be sure to visit the small museum next store. It houses religious artifacts and some pieces from Eater Island. The garden is very tranquil. Check the hours for when the church is...More

The Church has its history attached to it, and i think guided tours are available inside the premises; but we just went in to Pray. It was so divine, so heavenly, so peaceful, and the paintings, the architecture, the floral decorations, were amazing. Its in...More

This church features some bells which tell you the time, and such characteristic was immortalised in the tango called "Carillón de La Merced", written by the Argentinean Enrique Santos Discepolo.

This is a lovely church in downtown Santiago de Chile, so make sure you take time to enter and get out of the bustle of the city.

We can't pass a church without dropping in and this one is a beautiful one in the middle of the city. The outside has great colours and the inside is very solemn, but gives you wonderful feeling being there.

Very unique catholic church. Done with a South American flavor. Don't even pretend to say you've been to Santiago if you haven't stopped in here. A Must See!
