Modern, spacious, but a little sparse.
Nov. 2019
There seems to be a lot of empty space here- maybe it's hard to find enough interesting art to fill the various floors? I believe each exhibition is unique, ie no permanent collection on display. During my visit it was a little po-mo for my tastes, but to each their own. If still on display, the papier mache "Miss Universal Destiny" by Juan Pablo Langlois was both beutiful and harrowing. There are a few sculptures and a mural on the front patio. There is a gallery of pre-Colombian art as well on the top floor. Overall though, it's hard to know what to expect. If you are an art lover, I say take a chance. If not, skip it.

Beautiful & Impressive-lii Designed Multi-Floored Gallery!!
Jun. 2019
While roaming the streets of Barrio Lastarria we happened upon the very snazz-ii big spaced art gallery. It’s a multi-floored impressive-lii designed building lots of glass and open space. The modern art on displayed is fantastic even if you’re not an art fundii you are able to decide for yourself, many of the large pieces on displayed at the time of our visit was the five-panel work it could be hung together as one or as five pieces with some space in between. And again entree here is free of charge but they do have a collection box where the voluntary donations can be lodged and as they acknowledge that they real-lii appreciated any donation…….

Small and no info
Nov. 2018 • Couples
This is a very small museum. Free entry. There really want any info on the works displayed or the artists. If you're in the area fine but not worth a special trip.

you don't have to be interested in art to appreciate the beauty in this museum. Everything is so amazing and you're free to interpreted it however you want and that's the important thing.

More interesting than National Museum of Fine Arts
Jul. 2018 • Couples
This is a small museum, which I like. Contemporary art is not for everyone, but I find it entertaining.

We enjoyed the break, sitting on bean bags for about 15 minutes, in a big room, watching an arty film that made no sense to me.

You can pair this visit with Santa Lucia Hill, which is within walking distance to this museum.

Worth 30 minutes of your time

Contemporary art is hit-or-miss, so as with any gallery of this kind, it all depends on what is on display at the moment. But it’s an interesting, multi-level building, providing lots of variety in about 8 different rooms. Plus, there’s a small (one room) local archeological museum on the top floor, for good measure.

Worth a Peek

Oddities and an unusual floor arrangement make this museum a worthwhile visit. Plus, nice jewelry at the gift shop. Liked some of the art, not others. Don't forget the visual room, plays film to illustrate POV. I did learn something about current young Chilean artists.

Small museum but interesting
Jan. 2018 • Couples
We visited the museum after eating in the restaurant, the exhibitions are quite small and contemporary, however its still worth a visit. We ate at the restaurant twice as the service and food were very good.

an art museum as how it is supposed to be
Jun. 2017 • Couples
well, it's difficult to judge a museum where exhibitions always change. so, it's most about reviewing the current exhibits i guess; which were neither very interesting nor bad; just normal. the upper floor where they exhibit about Mapuches (local people of Chile) is quite interesting though (well, depends on your taste of course). the museum is located in a very artistic area. it's free on Sundays, charge a small fee on other days.
