The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes did not live up to my expectations. It's claim to fame is supposed to be its large collection of neoclassical paintings and sculptures. But what I saw left me unimpressed. There was a special exhibition on the works of...More

We love to visit fine arts museums wherever we go. Santiago Museo National de Bellas Artes was truly disappointing. The collections were scarce and we judged the quality very poor. In addition, the museum does not allow photos. The only reason I am giving it...More

This is a free museum in a French Baroque building built for the 100 year centennial of Chile. The exhibition was political about violence. The space is classical and deserves a visit.

The musem is beautiful from the outside. Truly outstanding architecture. Right now they are reconstructing it because it suffered some structural damage during an earthquake.

Small admission fee. Good variety of art. A beautiful building inside and out. Located a short walk from the city center.

It's a free museum. It has a fair amount of expositions open. There is also a small cafe inside where you can grab a quick bite or drink a cup of coffee.
