I have lived in Santiago more than 4 years and I deliberately moved to be closer Bellavista. It is a must see when friends and family visit. Bellavista consists mostly of restaurants and some of Santiago's best are situated along Concepcion. Cross one block farther west to Pio Nono to encounter Santiago's seedier side. It is a case study in... More

Real nice, fun, really alive place. It's a fun young energetic quarter with little cafes, restaurants, artisan shops and funky graffiti.

For the aficionados of street art, Bellavista is a must.Absolutely superb painted walls one discovers while strolling through the colourful streets; And the visit to Pablo neruda's La Chascona is a highlight of the area. Very easy to reach by metro.

Great place to find local food for various palettes wether you want to eat indoors or alfresco, you'll have tons of options. You'll also find musicians jamming out on the streets. Great for late night strolls.

This is a great area to visited and enjoy the food and bars. Also some night clubs on the gay area. Love the streets. With the view of the cerro San Cristobal. Just don't exposed ur self alone. Coz is a big target for tourist.

Travelling on foot through the area, this is the local's downtown shopping district with some tourist museums. Very crowded, site of all the traveller horror stories about bags being stolen or cut open. Never felt unsafe, but also wouldn't bother visiting unless you are visiting some other attractions.

Didn't personally want to spend too much time here. It is bar after bar. Pretty enough. People dancing and performing. Definitely a lively spot and good for a night out. Wouldn't bother with it for much else other than to get to Cerro Cristobal, which is 100% worth the view.

Great tour of belle vista precinct and central market. Fun and informative. Also visited the house of Pablo Neruda, Chilean poet and folk hero.
