The spot to have dinner

Barrio Bellavista is the place to go out or to have dinner. Lots of restaurants and bars, nice vibe. Beware of the pickpockets since it's a touristic area.

There's always a bar, cafe or restaurant open for a drink or a meal In Bellavista. It is also an historic landmark of the city with Pablo Neruda's Chascona house and for sure a must-do !

Our hotel was about 10-15 minutes walk from here and we ate there both nights with mixed results. Poo Nono is a bit rough and seems to be aimed at the back packers market but Constitucion is a lot more up market and has some really good quality restaurants. It also has La Chascona (Neruda's house) and the Funnicular railway... More

Didn't get much time here, but experiences some of the area murals and had dinner in the area. Dinner was very good and the vibe of all the trendy restaurants was fun.

This is our second favorite barrio in Santiago. Loved walking through here on a Saturday afternoon. Tons of street vendors and street entertainers!!

Good nightlife quarter with lots of bars discos, restaurants, live music, theaters, etc. Most people will enjoy it but do not expect anything fancy. Lot of young and old people, lot of tourists during evenings, specially on Fridays and Saturdays. During daytime on weekends you might combine it with a visit to the San Cristobal hill, just on its side.... More

A rather seedy side of town but a great place to wander around, surrounded by amazing street art. Definitely worth a visit.
