Museo Ralli is located far from the center of Santiago in a pleaant, tree-shaded suburb. (Bus #405 runs on Av. Liberatador Bernardo O'Higgins from downtown to a couple of blocks away and takes about 45 minutes for the trip midday.) The museum specializes in Latin American art and has hung striking examples in pleasant spacious galleries throughout a modern building;... More

We were disappointed to find this museum is closed for vacation the month of February. I had checked the website & didn't see anything about a closure so we went. It was closed & the posted sign indicated it was closed for the entire month.

This was one of our must-see places. It has a wonderful collection of modern art from mostly Latin American artists (plus Magritte). In addition to those we knew, we discovered several lesser known artists to enjoy. Well worth a visit. Also, admission is free!

This museum visit was a perfect end to my day in Santiago. It's a hidden gem that not many tourists, locals, or even guides know about. And, it's FREE! Housed in a gorgeous location, this museum contains an absolutely stunning rotating collection of modern Latin American art and sculpture. All of the works were beautiful and thought-provoking. Upstairs is a... More

Surprised that the concierge at the Cumbres Vitacura Hotel did not know about this museum that is a short 1.6 km walk away from the hotel, we were delighted by this comfortably displayed private collection of delightful paintings, prints, and sculpture. If you are anywhere near this Museum, a visit will make your day. Did I mention free admission -... More

Went to Ralli Museum to pass about 20 minutes away. Could not drag ourselves away for an hour! It is a wonderful art museum - quiet and free. A visit to Museo de la Mode nearby is equally as good, and features an aspect of Marilyn Munroe which is thought provoking. The museums are within walking distance of each other.... More

This museum is a great place to go. If you like art I highly recommend it! Besides the fact it's free. Calm place and just one block from Americo Vespucio and 2 from Vitacura avenue.

This private museum is unique as its permanent collection is mainly about Latin American artists and some European artists. The goal of its founders, Harry and Martine Recanati, was to bring Latin American artists into the public eye with Ralli Museums in Uruguay, Spain, Israel and Chile. We were here about 3 years ago and were delighted to see that the... More

Surprising concept of museology. Just art, no shop, no coffe, purely art to enjoy freely in a very pleasant ambience. The only problem was the difficulty to find the place, that is not clearly define in the maps.

The Ralli Museum is located a bit outside of the city centre so you have to take a taxi there but it is worth it. If you are into surrealist paintings they have a lot of great work here. The museum was pretty much empty when I went only 3 other people there. It is worth checking out.
