My boyfriend and I recently took our first trip to Chile - Santiago, Valparaiso and Wine Country. Not being familiar with the area, nor speaking the language fluently, we opted to hire a tour company. It was the best decision we made! Mauricio of Chilean Wine Lovers made our trip enjoyable, memorable and stress free. We spent several days visiting... More

We covered the pacific and a wine tasting stop . Our driver Leo did a nice job and the organisation's chief had set us up with a customised itinerary which included the lovely pacific town of Quintay - the visit highlight for me . As well as wonderful coast and a whaling museum the drive there through the forest was... More

I don't even know where to begin. We were visiting Santiago for a conference but wanted a wine tour. I found Mauricio (Chilean wine lovers) via trip advisor and booked him because of the great reviews. He is amazing. He picks you up in a Mercedes van and discusses the history of Chile while driving to your destination. He arranged... More

The wines, the food, the tour, and most importantly, the guide Mauricio, was absolutely fantastic. I booked a solo tour from Santiago to visit the Casablanca valley. Mauricio put an itinerary together for me promptly after I emailed him, and then added on bonus stops for empanadas and wines along the way, pulling out the red carpet throughout the day!... More

We had such a wonderful time visiting wineries in the Maipo Valley with Mauricio! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all things Chile: the history, the geography, the culture, and, of course, the wine! The wineries that Mauricio selected were all exceptional, as were the restaurants we visited for lunch (still dreaming of empanadas with Morande Cabernet Franc!). If... More

We can't begin to to touch on the depth of Mauricio's heart and soul that he puts into his tour experiences. We booked two days from our home base in Santiago. If you love history, wine, local culture and food this is the company for you. We had Leo as a guide the first day to Alcongua valley and the... More

Last year, until I encountered Mauricio, I thought my work trip to Santiago would be my sole foray to Chile. One afternoon with Chilean Wine Lovers then inspired me to return--and this time, to bring my husband. We had planned a four-day weekend with an excellent itinerary ... and then the airlines did their thing. A 24-hour delay might have... More

I'm not a big fan of group winery tours. We have specific tastes when it comes to wine, so being in a group means you're stuck with the lowest common denominator. Which is why we spent the day with Maurice. He doesn't do any of that. He is specific, brilliant, and super friendly. It's always a good sign when you... More

We booked a 2.5 day tour after a few e-mails back and forth with Maurizio and we are so glad we did. He is funny, informative, flexible, honest, and most importantly just a good person. He took us all around Santiago, Valparaiso, the Casablanca Valley, and then we spent a half day around Santiago before he took us to the... More

What a great knowledge of wine and humour to go with it. The visited wineries were excellent and lunch was had at Errazuriz Family winery which was excellent . Highly recommend .
